Elementary
Shakespeare It’s Elementary, designed for students grades 4-6, delivers a shot of adrenaline to English Language Arts curriculum, by engaging students to produce an entire Shakespeare play. There is a role for every child that will push the limits of their own literacy, creativity and collaboration. Students are introduced to vocabulary, storytelling, design, movement, history and character development. SIE culminates in a fully produced play at a professional theater, creating an inspiring festival atmosphere. In Addison County, the final performance is at Town Hall Theater. 200 students, grades 3-6, participate in Shakespeare It's Elementary classes during their school day! Shakespeare It's Elementary is a 2 month residency that is a part of the English Language curriculum that culminates in a shared performance for the community. We're excited for this new year of the program, and we hope you will come to the final performance, which will take place at Town Hall Theater in Middlebury in early December!

The show is ready! Tech and dress at Town Hall Theater went great. What a fantastic festival with ACSD schools yesterday! Today, Beeman 3rd-6th graders and Starksboro 5th & 6th graders have come together for their festival. Incredible group of kids and teachers!

Over 200 learners from Lothrop and Neshobe Elementary schools arrive to Town Hall Theater for their performances of Twelfth Night. An exciting culmination of our 2 month residencies at these schools.
